Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi, welcome by your guide and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Hanoi (B, L)
A 70km drive through rural northern Vietnam to the site of Vietnam's first capital, Hoa Lu. After visiting the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel, take a sampan on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves. Enormous limestone karsts jut out from the green rice fields giving rise to this place's other name, 'Halong on Land'. Climb up to the Bich Dong Pagoda, which offers a scenic view of the surrounding countryside.

Day 3: Hanoi (B, L)
A full day city tour of Vietnam's capital. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Quanh Thanh Temple and the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the edge of West Lake. After lunch in town continue to the Museum of Ethnology and end the afternoon with a visit to the Lake of the Restored Sword and a cyclo tour of the Old Quarter.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B, L)
Pick up at your hotel, travel to Halong City. We go through the scenic countryside. Stopover on the way to refresh. Arriving in Halong boat pier at around 12: 30. - 12h30: Welcome on Cruise and set sails through the Bay while lunch is serverd. Passage into the magical Bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a spectacular view of the Bay, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, other choices for kayaking or simply taking a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on the Cruise, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later, unwind at fantastic restaurant. If the weather permits a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi / Danang – Hoi An (B)
Hoi An Vietnam 6h30: Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay or enjoy a morning view of the Bay’s landscapes with a cup of Tea, Coffee, fresh Fruits. Sitting on the upper deck, we can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the rocky Islands rising from the crystal-clear waters of the Bay. The quiet is almost eerie, we can hear birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze. A tasty breakfast served at 7:30. After that, take an opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto 9h30: Return on board for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Transfer back to Hanoi for flight to Danang - Hoian.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue (B, L)
Hoi An was a major Asian trading port in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese communal hall and the colourful market. Leave Hoi An after lunch for Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. The scenic route passes through Danang before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co. Arrive in Hue late in the afternoon and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Hue (B, L)
Hue Vietnam Visit the former imperial capital of Vietnam. A boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue's best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. In the afternoon visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945.

Day 8: Hue / Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Transfer to Hue Airport after breakfast for the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals. A full day city tour takes in the city's bustling Chinatown and begins with a visit to the Thien Hau Temple, from where you will take a cyclo ride; the most appropriate and unusual way to explore Cholon, literally meaning 'big market'. The ride will take you to the lively Binh Tay Market. Then visit a lacquerware factory to witness workers continuing a Vietnamese ancestral tradition. After lunch visit the War Museum and the former Presidential Palace, from there on you will go on foot (the car will be available at all times) to visit the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. After this historical visit, enjoy some wonderful ice cream at Fanny's, a quaint little parlour with a French atmosphere, before exploring the trendy boutiques on Ton That Thiep Street.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Depart to Cai Be, deep in the Mekong Delta. Board the Cai Be Princess junk boat and start the tour with the visit of the colourful Cai Be floating market. Follow with a visit of some local home factories that produce rice paste, rice pop corn and coconut candies. Cruise then to evergreen islands among the Mekong River through large networks of meandering rivers, crisscrossed with countless arroyos. Lunch at a fruit orchard then cruise to Vinh Long and discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong Delta rural life.

Day 10: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Departure day. At leisure for shopping until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for onward flight. We can arrange additional customized trips for you if the above itinerary does not match your expectations.

Day1 Arrive in Ha Noi (D)
Arriving at Noi Bai Airport, you'll be welcomed by Vietnam Heritage Travel tour guide and escorted to the city.
You''ll enjoy free time for refreshment before we take you out again to sample the fine cuisine of Ha Noi at a local restaurant. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day2 Ha Noi – Mai Chau (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
0830: Leave your hotel for the drive to Mai Chau through the scenic countryside.  Arriving at the village of the white Thai in time for lunch, we'll get our room and have time to explore around the home. Afternoon is for visiting the countryside around Mai Chau. Dinner at the family home. Overnight on a house on stilts of a White Thai Community.

Day3  Mai Chau – Ninh Binh (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the family home.
Drive to Ninh Binh and enjoy lunch at Tam Coc. The route is not seen often by other tourists while the scenery is just fresh and tranquil.
In the afternoon, we'll have a cruise on sampan through the river surrounded by rock mountains and paddy fields. Then we continue our way to Phat Diem Stone Cathedral, a very unique structure of Vietnam. Dinner and stay overnight in Ninh Binh at a hotel.

Day4  Ninh Binh – Ha Long Junk Cruise (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Ha Long Bay through the heart of the Red River Delta with idyllic countryside. The road conditions are good and there are plenty of opportunities for taking pictures of Vietnam.

Arriving at Ha Long, embark on our wooden junk for an overnight cruise through the wild of Ha Long Bay. You'll have twin/double-shared private cabins on a shared junk. Our lunch and dinner are served on board the junk. Overnight on the junk in the wild of Ha Long Bay.

Day5 Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi/ Night Train for Lao Cai (B/L/D)
Breakfast on board.
Continue our cruise until the last feast for lunch and disembarking at 12:00 noon. Then we'll join our van to travel back to Ha Noi. Arriving in Ha Noi, you'll have free time at leisure until the evening when our tour guide will take you out again for the fine cuisine of Ha Noi.
After dinner we'll proceed further to the railway station for the overnight train journey for Lao Cai. Overnight on board the train. (private cabin with soft-sleepers)

Day6  Arrive at Lao Cai/ Lao Cai – Sa Pa (B/L/D)
Arriving at Lao Cai early, we'll meet our driver and drive on the terraced hillsides to Sa Pa – a cloud-covered town. We'll have breakfast at our hotel while room may be not ready until the check-in time.

After breakfast, we'll enjoy a walking tour amid the fresh nature of Sa Pa to Cat Cat Waterfall. After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll get back to our hotel and enjoy free time at leisure. Dinner is at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Sa Pa Town.

Day7  Sa Pa – Lao Cai/ Night Train for Ha Noi (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy a tour of Ham Rong Mountain with ethnic traditional show by local ethnic boys and girls.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we'll enjoy the tour to the Gateway to Heaven and the Silver Waterfall. You'll have free time at leisure until we'll travel back to Lao Cai for the overnight train trip for Ha Noi. Dinner at Lao Cai. Overnight on board thet train. (private cabin with soft-sleepers)

Day8  Arrive in Ha Noi/ Cooking Class & free time  (B/L)
Arriving in Ha Noi early in the morning, we'll be transferred to the hotel. We check into our room which has been booked and ready for early check-in.

You'll have time to get relaxed until our tour guide comes back and escorts out you for the cooking class.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
You will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. In the evening you will enjoy welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L)
In the Morning, you will visit the main sights including the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace and the famous Ben Thanh Market. After lunch, drive to Cu Chi district (75km from HCMC) to visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Depart to Mekong Delta for a visit of the Floating Market and Countryside Tour. Boat cruise to the colorful floating market of Cai Be and then followed by a visit to some local factories that produce rice paper and coconut candy. Lunch is served at a fruit orchard before going back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Hoian via Da nang (B)
After breakfast, free time to explore the city until transfer to the airport for a short flight to Da Nang. Meet your guide there and transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An – Myson (B, L)
In the morning, a half day trip to My Son, visit the museum and the holy site, then head back to Hoi An for lunch. In the afternoon, take a walking tour to discover Hoi An, visiting the 300-year-old Tan Ky Ancient House, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Japanese Covered Bridge and Hoi An Market. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 6: Hoi An- Da Nang- Hue (B)
Free time at leisure for your own discovery. After lunch, depart by Car over the most spectacular Hai Van Pass to Hue, the Vietnam’s former Imperial Capital. En route, visit the Marble Mountain, Cham Museum and the Stone Village. Overnight in Hue

Day 7: Hue (B, L)
Take a boat trip to Thien Mu Pargoda, then visit the Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the tombs of Emperor Tu Duc and Minh Mang. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Hanoi (B)
Take free time until transfer to airport for short flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. In the evening you will attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi Full Day city tour & Night train to Laocai (B, L)
Take a full day city tour including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, His house on stilt, One pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda and the Temple of Literature. After lunch continue to visit Hoa Lo Prison and Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy two hours cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. In the evening, take the night train to Laocai.

Day 10: Sapa (B)
Upon arrival, transferred to Sapa and enjoy light trek to Cat Cat village of Black Mong minority. In the afternoon, free for leisure. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 11: Sapa – Lao Cai & Night train to Hanoi (B, L)
Have a 4 hours trek to Lao Chai village of Black Mong minority and Ta Van Village of Dzay people, then drive to the Ta Phin village of Red Dzao people. In the evening, go back to Lao Cai Station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.

Day 12: Hanoi- Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Drive to Halong bay which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage for its outstanding natural beauty. Stop en route for a rest. Arrive at Halong city, boarding and enjoy a relaxing 24h boat trip through Halong Bay. After seafood lunch, enjoy the cruise among hundreds of islets and take part in many outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, cave visiting. Dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 13: Halong Bay- Hanoi (B, L, D)
Join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or freshen up with a good swimming before enjoying a nice international breakfast while the boat cruises among thousands of islands and islets back to the pier. Return to Hanoi for Lunch. In the evening enjoy farewell dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day1 Arrive in Ha Noi
Arriving at Ha Noi Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day2 Ha Noi City Tour (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we’ll tour the 1000 year old city of Ha Noi. We’ll visit different highlights of Ha Noi including: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Ngoc Son temple, the Temple of Literature - 1st University of Vietnam.
In the afternoon, we continue our tour to the Tran Quoc Pagoda - Nation founding pagoda, the Quan Thanh temple.  In late afternoon, we'll have 1 hour rickshaw ride around the old quarter and a traditional water puppet show. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day3 Ha Noi - Thay Pagoda - Tay Phuong Pagoda - Ha Noi (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
We travel 30 km( 45 minutes) from Hanoi to Tay Phuong Pagoda which was built in the 17th century, and is very famous for the 18 statues of La Han coated with lacquer paint. After that we visit Thay Pagoda which was first built in 11 century. This one is located at the foot of Thay Mountain and has a neat setting. In here, you'll tour the oldest stage for performing water puppet right in the village lake. Then we travel back to Ha Noi and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day4 Ha Noi - Mai Chau (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meet our tour guide at your hotel and travel by road 4 hours (150 km) from Hanoi to Mai Chau. On the way we’ll be treated with the stunning mountain and valley views. We’ll stop on the way a few times for taking in the freshness of nature. Upon arrival, we’ll have time for refreshment and lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a walking tour around White Thai villages. Dinner at the family’s home. Overnight with a Thai ethnic minority family in a house on stilts.

Day5 Mai Chau – Kenh Ga - Ninh Binh (B/L)

Today, we’ll travel through the mountains to the Red River Delta. We’ll travel our way past Hoa Binh Town and head for Kenh Ga. Lunch is at a local restaurant in Van Long. After lunch we’ll have a 2 hour boat tour of the scenic countryside of Kenh Ga. Here the authentic countryside life of the farmers along the river flanked by ranges of rock mountains and rice paddies is revealed. After the boat cruise, we’ll travel further to Ninh Binh Town. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day6 Ninh Binh - Hai Phong (B/L)

Our morning tour is for the visit to the scenic countryside of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and Thung Nang Valley in Tam Coc Town. At Hoa Lu, we’ll tour the 02 temples dedicated to the 02 royal families of Vietnam back in the 10th century and enjoy a walking tour amid the karst formations to discover the site of the former capital. Then we continue onto Tam Coc for a 2-hour sampan trip amid rice paddies to explore the unreal scenery of karst formations at Thung Nang Valley. Our lunch is at Tam Coc Town.
In the afternoon, we’ll travel our way through the Red River Delta with rich culture to Hai Phong colonial city. Arriving at Hai Phong, we’ll check into our hotel and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Hai Phong.

Day7 Hai Phong - Ha Long Bay Junk Cruise (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
We enjoy free time at leisure then check out of our hotel. We’ll travel for 1 hour to Ha Long Bay in time to board our junk at 12:00 noon. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed on board our luxury junk and treated with wine and fresh local seafood. As our junk gliding further into the tranquility of Ha Long Bay amid the towering mountain cliffs and on the emerald green water, you'll have relaxing time combining the fine tastes of the wine and the freshness of Ha Long Bay. During the cruise, we'll stop for visiting the amazing Sung Sot cave and the Ti Top white sand beach before anchoring for the night. Overnight on board the junk in the wild of Halong Bay.

Day8 Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi/ Overnight Train for Hue (B/L)
After breakfast, we'll take a little sampan to visit a secret lagoon of Ha Long Bay while the surrounding mountains are just waking up. After that our cruise takes us further into the Bay of Bai Tu Long traveling past the Human Head Island, the Turtle Island, and the Duck Islet... to the studio site where the famous Indochine film was shot.

After the last feast on board for lunch, our junk travels back to the harbor for disembarkation at 12.00 A.M. We rejoin our bus and make our way to Ha Noi. We enjoy free time at leisure until our tour guide comes back and assist you back to the train station for the overnight train for Hue. Overnight on board the train.

Day9 Arrive in Hue/ Hue Citadel Tour
Arriving in Hue, meet our tour guide and travel to the city for refreshment. Then we’ll start the discovery tour of Hue Imperial Citadel. After the tour of Hue Citadel, we’ll check into the hotel and enjoy free time at leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight in Hue.
Note: Today early check-in with breakfast is not included in the tour price.

Day10 Hue (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy a morning river cruise to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda and Tombs of King Tu Duc, Khai Dinh and Minh Mang. We’ll enjoy free time at leisure after that. Overnight in Hue.

Day11 Hue Hoi An (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we continue our tour further south to Da Nang and Hoi An. We’ll enjoy the scenic Hai Van Pass, Marble Mountains and the Non Nuoc Beach. We arrive in Hoi An in late afternoon and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day12 Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
We check out of our hotel and continue our journey to My Son Cham Ruins. We’ll travel back to the 4-7th centuries A.D to the heyday of the Cham Pa Kingdom.

Our tour goes through the scenic countryside with different villages of which the hosts live a normal life like many others day by day contributing diligently to what we call the culture of Vietnam. We travel back in time to appreciate what human beings have achieved. Let’s spend a moment to cherish the people of Champa Kingdom.
Leaving My Son, we travel back to Hoi An and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
Cham Pa was a kingdom in the central and south central region of Vietnam thriving from around the 2nd century A.D to the 15th century. My Son at the time was the Holy Land of the Cham Pa Kingdom.
Each king who succeeded the thrown built a temple dedicated to the gods of his Kingdom. With time gone by, My Son had become the main religious center of the Cham Pa Kingdom where the Cham prayed, where all important religious ceremonies took place. Dedicated by the royal court and the people of Cham Pa Kingdom, My Son boasted its grandeur and magnificence like no others. Unfortunately wars ravaged the area and left only the ruins of once great structures.
 
Day13 Hoi An (B)

Day14 Hoi An - Da Nang - Sai Gon (B)

You enjoy free time at leisure until we transfer you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by the locals . Arriving at Saigon Airport, you’ll be picked up and escorted to the city. Before getting to the hotel, we’ll have an oriented walking tour of Saigon down town area. The rest of the day is free at leisure. In the evening, we’ll go out for a dinner cruise on the Saigon River. Overnight in Saigon.
Saigon sprawls its length along the Saigon River. With convenient transportation and location, Saigon has always been busy with trade and commerce for hundreds of years since its formation.

Saigon boasts its high rise buildings and luxurious hotels along the riverside. This area is particularly stunning at night when the city full of light can be viewed from a boat cruising on the Saigon River. There are also some rooftop bars and restaurants for you to watch Saigon at night from above.

Saigon is a city on the go, busy days and nights. It’s required no effort to find something to entertain ourselves while in Saigon. There are many pagodas, temples and museums in the city. Those who want to have more active experiences may like to get lost in the busy and exotic markets selling most of things on earth, the numerous bars and sidewalk cafes always full of guests, smoke and music, or just take part in the traffics like nowhere else in the downtown area. If those things are not enough, then there are lots of parks and water parks around the city for you to get relaxed.

Day15 Sai Gon - Cu Chi - Sai Gon (B)

Travel for 70 km to Cu Chi once famous for the legendary tunnel system which at the height stretched over 250 km. In Cu Chi, you will have to check these tunnels of 3 levels yourself by creeping in the narrow tunnels. We’ll be surprised to find out how people made these tunnels and find out how life of the local people was during the Second Indochina War. After exploring Cu Chi Tunnel, we travel back Sai Gon and enjoy free time at leisure. Lunch and dinner are on our own today. Overnight in Saigon.

Day16 Sai Gon - Cai Be - Vinh Long Homestay (B/L/D)

In the morning, we drive 136 km( 4 hours) from HoChiMinh city to VinhLong town. Upon arrival, we'll board our boat and start to explore the islands of the Mekong Delta. We'll visit: a temple or a community house, brick-making, pottery factories, a bean-curd making family, a blacksmith, rice-peeling process...and learn about the real local life. Lunch is served in a family on an island. In the afternoon, we cruise to discover more about the local culture, visit a bonsai garden, then anchor at a family for the night. We stay overnight with a local family on one island.

Day17 Vinh Long - Xeo Quyt - Sai Gon (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
We’ll have a walking tour around the village; visit a family with century-old traditions and tools for doing farm work, an orchard with seasonal fruits. After that we'll cruise on some Mekong river tributaries to Cai Be floating market. We'll visit families making popcorn and rice paper. Then we continue our tour by road to Xeo Quyt, a former famous VC Base covered by eco cajeput forest. After a boat trip in the eco forest of Xeo Quyt we travel back to Sai Gon. Overnight in Sai Gon.

Day18 Depart Sai Gon (B)
